Nasal secretions were classified as mucoid and mucopurulent. A significant difference between mucoid and mucopurulent secretions was found in MTR on the frog palate, storage modulus, dry weight, the concentration of protein, and the concentration of DNA, but not found in loss modulus, pH, and the concentration of calcium ion. These results indicate that the physicochemical properties of mucoid and mucopurulent secretions are different from each other. 2. Significant correlation between MTR on the frog palate and dry weight was found (r = 0.3831, p \u003c 0.05) and MTR on the frog palate was accelerated by increase of dry weight. 3. Significant correlation was found between storage modulus and dry weight (r = 0.7387, p \u003c 0.001), and between loss modulus and dry weight (r = 0.7387, p \u003c 0.001), and between loss modulus and dry weight (r = 0.5839, p \u003c 0.01). 4.
