The automization has the following four main purposes : (1)detecting the position and geometry of an object to be measured set on the observation stage ; (2)displaying the geometrics of the object to be measured on the CRT of a personal computer ; (3)deciding the area to be observed coincident with cursol location directed by input data from key board ; and (4)moving the observation table to the directed position. With the circuits and mechanism of our own making for detection and control, when the system was actually operated, it is proven that the system has satisfactory positional accuracy compared with the visual field width of the microscope.
