パーソナル衛星通信システムの開発動向 小林, 英雄 Kobayashi, Hideo Inmarsat Personal Satellite Communications Non-GSO Satellites application/pdf In this paper, the present status of mobile satellite communications is first reviewed focussing on Inmarsat standard systems currently operating and under development for providing various mobile satellite communications services to maritime, aeronautical and land users. Second, the roll of personal mobile satellite communucations is presented in comparing with that for the terrestrial based mobile communications. Third, this paper reviews various kinds of personal satellite communications systems proposed to date, which allow the user to use a handheld terminal. Finally, this paper describes the recent developments in those global personal satellite communications systems which are targeting the service implementation by around 2000 years.
