First, the study found that the main activity of the heads of the Japanese education departments at both participant Universities is Japanese language teaching. Second, a survey of the colleagues working at both universities revealed their impressions, the challenges they faced etc. The study then deals with challenges and possibilities  regarding sending and receiving overseas students.},
