Firstly, it contains attitudes focusing on personal growth and well-being as well as other skills and attitudes such as communication and thinking skills. Secondly, “21st Century Skills”, it is called “competencies” in British Columbia, “ core competencies” in Alberta, and “21st century competencies” in Ontario, is combination of knowledge, skills and attitudes which apply within and across all subjects.
