We used a random effects model to combine the effect estimates from the studies included in the analysis. The main outcome measures were effect (SMD: standardized mean difference) on pain intensity.\nResults: Out of 260 studies meeting our inclusion criteria, 11 RCTs totaling 1812 patients were included in the final analysis. Our results showed a significant effect on pain relief among cancer patients. The moderator analysis showed a beneficial effects of nurse-led pain education with compornents including observed with the contents \"pharmacologic pain treatment\", \"pain assessment\", \"nonpharmacological pain management\", \"side-effect\". Effective methods inclouded \"using booklet\", \"face to face\", and \"higher dose of intervention (characterized by face to face, multiple sessions, and extensive follow-up)\". Nurse-led pain education was more effective in outpatients than in inpatients and with family caregivers.\nConclusion: This study suggested that nurse-led pain management education for patients with cancer pain was
