Eight visiting nurses participated in a semi-structured interview. The extracted qualitative data was analyzed using Berelson’s Content Analysis. As a result, the causes of pain recognized by nurses were 11 categories, including \"sputum and suction\" and \"body position changing\". The signs of pain recognized by nurses were 8 behavioral responses, including \"crying\", \"frowning\" and \"tensing,\" and 3 physiological responses such as \"increased heart rate\".
