Objectives: To elucidate that restoration of hypoglycosy lated α-DG inhibits neuroblastoma (NB) cell proliferation. Results: Some of NB cell lines exhibited hypoglycosylation and low laminin binding capacity of α-DG. The genes involved in α-DG glycosylation were normally expressed. Supplementation of ribitol improved hypoglycosylation of α-DG in SJ-N-JF cells and repressed tumor growth in SJ-N-JF xenograft model.
