| 内容記述 | According to Kant's own testimony, which we find in the Prolegomena, it was Hume that interrupted his "dogmatic slumber." Kant also describes his Critique of Pure Reason as "the elaboration of the Humean Problem in its greatest possible amplification." So, if we take his testimony at face value, the Critique is a book, in which Kant suggested a solution of his own to the problem which he had shared with Hume. But, to tell the truth, what Kant calls "the Humean Problem" was not Hume's problem, namely the problem to which Hume addressed himself. In this paper, after giving an overview of Kant's project in his Critique, I will treat the relationship between Hume and Kant, in the light of the difference between "the Humean Problem" and Hume's problem. Then I will treat the relationship between Leibniz and Kant, in the light of Kant's response to Leibniz's "pre-established harmony," and show that the Critique is a book, in which Kant suggested a solution of his own to the problem which he had shared with Leibniz. | |||||||||
