| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to explore what kind of enjoyment children find in onomatopoeic picture books that are difficult for adults to understand, and how that enjoyment develops. We read three picture books to children between the ages of 1 and 10 at nursery schools and elementary schools: "Po-pa-pe Popipappu," "Rhythm," and "Kani Tsun-tsun." We then observed and recorded the children's reactions when the books were read to them. The results showed that onomatopoeic picture books can be enjoyed not only by preschool children but also by children of elementary school age. Sharing enjoyment began around the age of 3, and peaked between the ages of 5 and 8. Children found emotional enjoyment in "Po-pa-pe Popipappu," physical enjoyment in "Rhythm," and intellectual enjoyment in "Kani Tsun-tsun." | |||||||||||||
