| 内容記述 | This case study investigates the impact of personalized listening instruction on a third-year university student enrolled in a teacher-training program in Japan. Over one academic semester, the participant engaged with authentic audiovisual materials tailored to personal interests and learning goals. The intervention aimed to enhance listening comprehension, foster learner autonomy, and explore pedagogical models relevant to future EFL teaching. Results revealed increased motivation, improved fluency and retention, deeper cultural curiosity, and growing confidence in engaging with natural spoken English. The study discusses challenges related to content quality and scalability, concluding with recommendations for adapting this approach to larger classroom settings and integrating learnerdesigned listening strategies in future iterations. | |||||||||
