Purpose: To provide public health nursing students with an opportunity to develop practical skills in sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention education, we collaborated with public health center nurses and faculty members to implement STI prevention education．This study aimed to clarify the students learning outcomes during this process．Methods: Focus group interviews were conducted with eight public health nursing students who implemented STI prevention education on campus during and after their public health nursing practicum in 2019．The interview transcripts were qualitatively analyzed, and categories were extracted based on common themes related to student learning．This study was approved by the medical ethics committee of the researchers’ institution．Results: Five categories of learning outcomes were identified: [Fostering literacy in STI prevention education], [Awareness of key points in STI prevention education], [Greater understanding of health education techniques], [Recognition of the ability to support interprofessional collaboration], and [Gaining learning and a sense of fulfillment through collaborative engagement]. Discussion: The implementation of STI prevention education was an experience that involved feelings of embarrassment for students; however, engaging in such practice within a supportive collaborative environment was suggested to provide a valuable learning opportunity for enhancing students’ practical competencies. |

目的：保健師学生が性感染症（以下，STIと略す）予防教育の実践力を養う機会として，保健所保健師や教員と協働し，STI予防教育を実施する取り組みを行った．本研究は，その過程で学生が得た学びを明らかにすることを目的とした．研究方法：2019年度の公衆衛生看護学実習および実習後に学内でSTI予防教育を実践した保健師学生8名を対象に，フォーカスグループインタビューを実施した．得られた逐語録を質的に分析し，学生の学びに関して意味内容の共通性に基づいてカテゴリーを抽出した．本研究は，研究者が所属する医学倫理審査委員会の承認を得て実施した．結果：【STI予防教育のリテラシーを育む】【STI予防教育の重点ポイントに気づく】【健康教育技術への認識を深める】【多職種連携を支える力に気づく】【安心した協働のなかで学びと充実感を得る】の5つのカテゴリーに分類された．考察：STI予防教育の実践は，学生にとって羞恥心を伴なうものであったが，安心した協働環境における実践経験は，学生の実践的能力を高める上で有効な学習機会となることが示唆された． |
