Several times the author published the names of the distributors, and the analytical results of their milk, to offer consumers safety information in order to select the best and safest milk. This obliged the distributors to take measures to decrease the residue in their milk. In 1971 the Min. of Wel. established a temporary limit of β-BHC residue in city milk as 0.2ppm. But there has been no change in that limit since 1971. The author proposes, based on his research, that a new limit (one which is practical) be established.
