The mechanical properties of polyvinyl chloride insulator have been measured by the tensile test. As a result, it is found that the relation between stress and strain can be numerically expressed by a hyperbola and a parabola equations. The relation between the mechanical properties and the spring constant in Vigot model has been discussed for the evaluation of the effect of heating on mechanical behavior. Additionally, a very usuful method for the evaluation of mechanical properties has been developed.}, pages = {139--146}, title = {Study on Non Linear Properties of Stress and Strain for Polyvinyl Chloride Insulator}, volume = {38}, year = {1987} }
