They are morphologically very similar to each other, but these species have not been studied taxonomically enough. The diameter of a spore, and the diameter and numbers of spiral bands of a capillitial thread as the taxonomical characteristics of T. affinis were measured from 50 samples of 10 specimens to clarify their normal size. The results indicate that a spore has banded reticulations with many pares on the top, the maximum diameter is 15.03 μm, the minimum size is 10.66 μm, and the average size is 13.12 μm. The standard deviation is 1.2775 and the variation coefficient is ±0.0974. The normal diameter of a spore of this species developed in Japan is 13.02-13.12-13.22 μm. For a capillitial thread composed 4-5 spiral bands with minute spinuloses on the surface, the maximum diameter is 6.19 μm, the minimum size is 4.6 μm and the average size is 5.35 μm. The standard deviation is 0.4796 μm and the variation coefficient is ±0.0896. The normal diameter of a capillitial thread of this species developed in Japan is 5.26-5.44 μm.}, pages = {7--12}, title = {Taxonomic Study of Genus Trichia (Myxomycetes)}, volume = {50}, year = {1999} }
