A statistical comparison was conducted on the results of questionnaires administered at the end of practical training to a total of 124 fourth-year students, specifically 51 students in 2004 and 73 students in 2005, who completed practical training in home nursing at our university and consented to participate in the survey. \n The following results were obtained: \n1) In the training method used in 2004, students were instructed to apply nursing processes after identifying health problems primarily among close relatives. Many students selected their grandparents as subjects.\n This method resulted in a high level of understanding in the item of understanding the causes of impairment while determining the state of adaptation to life. \n2) The training method used in 2005 required students to participate in practical training at visiting nurse stations.
