 note = {application/pdf, 本研究の目的は，がん患者のがん性疼痛とQuality of Life（以下QOLとする）の関係性，また，個人特性とQOLの関係性を明らかにし，ケアへのあり方を考えることである．
　対象者は，A病院に入院中の患者でがん性疼痛を持つ者，もしくは疼痛コントロールのために鎮痛薬を内服している者とした．調査項目は疼痛の程度，QOL，個人特性とした．QOLの測定尺度はSF-36を用いた．調査方法は面接及び診療記録・看護記録によりデータを収集した．分析は，疼痛の程度とQOLについては相関関係を，個人特性とQOLについてはMann-Whitney検定を用いて比較分析を行った．なお，本研究は研究実施施設の倫理委員会の承認を受けるとともに，対象者には書面と口頭で研究参加の同意を得た上で実施した．
　結果は，対象者は29名（平均年齢62.59±8.76歳，男性16名，女性13名）であった．疼痛の程度と「心の健康」に相関関係が認められた．疼痛の程度が強くなると「心の健康」のQOLが阻害される，という関係が認められた．また，過去1ヶ月間を通して病院で過ごしていた人よりも，自宅での療養期間があった人の方が，社会生活機能のQOLが高く，療養場所における「社会生活機能」に有意差が認められた．
　がん性疼痛のある患者の「心の健康」には疼痛の程度が関係していることもあり，精神状態のアセスメントは，疼痛の程度にも注目して行う必要がある．また，社会生活機能」のQOLには，療養場所が関係しているため，在宅療養が可能な患者にはQOLを高めるために在宅ケアを検討する必要がある．, This study aimed to clarify relationships between the pain and the quality of life （QOL） of cancer patients taking analgesics, and between a patients characteristic and QOL. 
　Instruments used for measurements were pain level, SF-36 for the QOL and patient demographics.  Data was collected in patient interviews and from medical and nursing records.  For data analyses, a correlation coefficient was used for pain level and QOL.  The Man-Whitney test was used for patient characteristics and QOL.  Data collation was begun after receiving approval from the RIB of Mie University and the patients agreement to participate. 
　Twenty-nine patients from the same hospital participated this study.  Pain level was found to correlate with Mental Health.  The QOL of Mental Health fell as pain became more severe. Also, patients at home had significantly better QOL of Social Functioning than those staying in hospital during the past month.
　These findings suggested that more attention needs to be given to pain assessment considering mental as well as physical states.  Moreover, that fact patients at home have better QOL than those in hospital should also be taken into consideration.},
