Weve examined 21 mothers with preterm infants using STAI Japanese Version, a measurement scale of anxiety, and SNI Japanese Version for social support measurement scale.\n　As a result, while preterm mothers had least number of support members during infants hospitalization period, degree of their satisfaction for support was the highest conversely.  In conclusion, it has been proved that material support from husband for all of the periods reduced mothers anxiety in child rearing period.
