Prior attempts to reduce these side effects, mainly numbness, dysesthesias, paresthesias, have been unsuccessful.  We evaluated whether there is benefit for peripheral neuropathy induced by paclitaxel using fireless moxibustion.  Weve examined 9 patients treated with paclitaxel with breast cancer, ovarian cancer, individually.  The patients put fireless moxibustion by themselves 3 times per week and continued for 12 weeks.
