Two methods of cracking tests were employed ; the constant load and the constant extensional rate of the specimen. The former was the ordinary creep rupture test, and the later has been newly proposed in order to simulate the phenomena of fracture along the prior-austenite grain boundary. The grain size affects the crack-initiating time and the fracture mode. The grain boundary fracture was observed at two different extensional rates, that is, about 20 and 0.02 nm/s.
