SpEはブリ連鎖球菌症の優れた治療薬であると判断された。, Therapeutic effect of spiramycin embonate (SpE) was examined against Streptococcus sp. infection in yellowtail cultured in the coast. SpE was mixed in fish mince and consecutively administered with free feeding for 10 days at the rate of 25, 30, 35 and 40 mg/kg/day. The fish responded to SpE with reduction in mortality and were found to be remarkably cured of the disease during medication.
