present study used six carps Cyprinus carpio,about 11cm in average total length,for investigating fish distribution in a funnel net and fish movement between two mountain-shaped nets which set on upper and lower sides or set on both sides.\nThe most important effect to fish distribution in a funnel net was a sloped bottom net.\nThe nets set on upper and lower sides had more great effect on fish movement than that set on both sides.\nWhen disigning,reforming and operating some fishing gears, it is necessary to consider the results mentioned
