We investigated differentiation- inducing abilities of 23 nicotinic acid-related compounds in two human leukemia cell lines. In this study, We used human myeroidleukemia cells, HL-60 and human erythroleukemia cells, K562. As the results, differentiation to granulocyte ?like cells was induced by nicotinamide, nicotinamide N-oxide, and isonicotinic acid in HL-60 cells.
