The suitability of application of this theory and its techniques was investigated. Also the theorization for the new techniques of work study to make this skidding system most suitable was demonstratively investigated. This was done by using data of 42 systems of the skidding operation which was recently carried out in the national forests within the province of Hokkaido regional forest office and Obihiro branch regional forest office. The results obtained by this investigation are summarized as follows: (1) By means of the best quantities {tjk} determined for the category Cjk as the conditional factors of operation, the complicated relationship between labour productivity and the conditional factors of operation in the Tractor skidding system could be solved. (2) The predictable model of labour productivity correspdnding to the conditions of operation was designed by the results of analysis. Therefore, when this skidding operation must be planned, if the conditional factors of operation in the skidding area are investigated, labour productivity in this skidding operation can be predicted plurally by this model. This model is shown in Table 5, and the results of correspondence between the values of investigation and the values of estimation of labour productivity in the step of 10 factors are shown in Table 7. (3) It is possible to make the working system most suitabte to this skidding operation, because the most suitable conditional factors of operation can be determined. (4) It was demonstrated that the application of this theory and techniques for the analysis of this skidding system was also proper, because the value of the multiple correlation coefficient which denotes synthetically the precision of estination in the quantification method is 0.927 in the step of 10 factors. (5) By means of the values of the multiple correlation coefficient, partial correlation coefficient, partial correlation coefficient of factors and deviation, the theorization for the new techniques of work study to make this skidding system most suitable could be demonstratively made.
