There are two ways by which farm households enjoy the merit of agricultural mechanization without private holding of machines. One is by joint holding. The other is by committing farm operation to a contractor. The latter is increasing recently, in farm households with small holdings, or in those with high non-farm income. 2. The main factors which expedite contract farm operation are : promotion of agricultural instructure development, improvement and conservation, small holding areas, loss of farm labor, no farm machines, low farm operation prices, strong orientation to economical rationalization, etc・・・ 3. It is profitable to commit all farm operations to a contractor in farm households which are less than 1.2 ha holding with no farm machines, rather than to have small size farm machines and operate alone. However, about half of the farm households, with even less than 1.0 ha holding (sometimes less than 0.5 ha holding), have small size farm machines. 4. Most farm households of smaller holding, which have farm machines at present, signify their intention to commit their farm operation to contractors in the future.}, pages = {1--23}, title = {農作業委託の経済論理と諸要因}, volume = {68}, year = {1984} }
