In July 2006, a conference of the Japan-Korea Joint Exchange Program for Science and Engineering Students was held at Kanazawa University. At this conference, the Higher Education Bureau (the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) announced that it plans to continue to promote the program after 2010. This paper reports the current status of the Japan-Korea Joint Exchange Program for Science and Engineering Students at Mie University.
