In this research, we focused on the use of connection expression in Japanese and\nanalyzed the use tendencies between Japanese learners in South Korea and Japanese\nnative speakers.\n　We divided learners into three groups as follows; learners who had the experience\nof studying in Japan for over one year, learners who had the experience of studying in\nJapan for under one year and learners who had no experience of studying in Japan at\nall. We compared the writing data among these three groups and a group of Japanese\nnative speakers.\n　We found that the learners’ use of \"\"te-form\"\" which express attendant circumstances\nand \"\"node\"\" which express the reason, may be processed through the U-shaped change\nto become more and more like the use tendencies of Japanese native speakers. However,\nother connection expressions do not show the same results.
