However, although the participants are interested in classroom activity, those who actually participate in a classroom are about ten percent after the end of lectures. In order to grope for the factor and remedy, the opinion poll was conducted to the participants by the introduction lectures. As a result, in order for a participant to realize a Japanese classroom to be “room”, it became clear that four functions of “exchange, international understanding, local participation, and Japanese study” are indispensable. However, it was not connected with participating in a classroom only by these four functions being achieved. Then, I would like to propose adding Japanese volunteer mentors as the 5th function.
