This is the report on its main contents and results of a questionnaire asking participants for comments about it.The workshop, the first attempt of the kind of the Center for International Students Mie University, was held at the strong request of local people supporting Japanese language education. Specifically, the three-hour class (90-min. class x2) of the intensive basic Japanese course at Mie University, Which the writer of this report, among others, is in charge of, was open to the applicants (hereafter referred to as “participants”). In order to make the class more meaningful for participants, 90-min.  “preliminary briefing” and l-hour “workshop　on　the　class” were provided before and after the class respectively. At the end of “the workshop on the class”, a questionnaire was conducted, asking participants for comments.
