Humoral IgG responses were analyzed with ELISA assay. 3 patients were positive for MAGE-A4 antibody prior vaccination, suggesting that there exists natural positive immunity in MAGE-A4 antigen positive cancer patients. Among them, MAGE-A4 immunity was augmented in one case. In 4 MAGE-A4 antibody negative patients, 2 converted to MAGE-A4 IgG positive.
