C編}, month = {Apr}, note = {application/pdf, Piercing of a circular hole through glass sheets, difficult by conventional punching or drilling, is investigated by a manufacturing process using the impact compression of a viscoplastic pressure medium. Since the original method previously proposed by the authors is not available for a larger aspect ratio, an improvement on it is attempted. Two techniques are proposed for this purpose: a method based on the delay phenomenon in the elastic response of the specimen and a differential pressurizing method. As the result, both are shown to be useful.
