Tip vane has the excellent ability to improve the performance of horizontal axis wind turbine. Also, we found that the rotation speed of wind turbine is controlled by the change of sweep angle of tip vane. The relationships among the sweep angle of tip vane, the change of wind speed and the rotor speed are investigated.
