SiO2, 98 SiO2・2TiO2, 95 SiO2・5TiO2 及び 78.3 SiO2・1.7TiO2・20 CuO の組成になるように調製した溶液をソーダ石灰シリカガラス基板上に浸漬法で塗布し, 乾燥後, 加熱することによって膜を得た. 塗布時期(溶液調製後, 塗布までの時間) : 1時間~2日, 及び乾燥時間 : 1分~1時間の範囲では, どちらも短いほど外観の優れた膜が得られた. この方法で 0.1~0.3μm の透明で均一な膜を作ることができた. また, 増粘剤を添加すると 0.5μm まで作製が可能であるが, それ以上の膜では, クラック, 白い曇り(微細なクラックによる), はく離の膜のなどの欠陥が生じた. 透明で均一な膜の引っかき強度は基板ガラスの引っかき強度以上であり, 加熱温度か加熱時間が増すと増加した. 透明で均一な SiO2 膜の基板ガラスに対する接着力は 100kg/cm2 以上であった.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"Transparent and homogeneous coating films of the compositions SiO2, 98 SiO2・2 TiO2, 95 SiO2・5 TiO2 and 78.3 SiO2・1.7 TiO2・20 CuO in mol% were prepared by immersing a soda-lime glass substrate into metal alkoxide solutions, pulling it up, drying and heating. Effect of preparation conditions on the properties of films was examined. The time fot hydrolysis of the solution, that is, interval between preparation of the solution and its application, and the drying time were varied from 1 h to 2 d and from 1 min to 1 h, respectively. The films of 0.1~0.3 μm in thickness were transparent and homogeneous when the time for hydrolysis of the solution and drying time were short. The thickness of the films could be increased up to 0.5 μm by adding a viscosity-increasing agent to the solution. Defects such as crack, opaqueness or peeling off were observed when the film was thicker than 0.5 μm. Scratch strength of the films was higher than that of the glass substrate and increased with increasing heating temperature and heating time.
