本研究の目的は、過疎・高齢化地域において大学・行政・地域が連携し、災害時の認知症高齢者支援を目指した教育支援を地域住民に行い、その効果を検証することであった。対象地域において、防災対策に関する課題を明らかにし、教育支援を行い認知症高齢者の防災力強化を目指した支援体制を構築した。結果として、地域住民の認知症に関する知識や、支援への自信は高まった。また、地域住民が支援活動を継続的に実施するために災害時支援マニュアルを作成した。
The purpose of this research was that development of a supported system to strengthen disaster prevention for elderly with dementia in depopulation and aging regions.We clarified issues on disaster prevention measures in the target area, and then provided educational support to local residents.In the results, confidence in the knowledge and support of dementia of the local population increased.In order for local residents to continue support activities, we created use of a manual for disaster support.
