This report looks at the assessment by Heidelberg University students and faculty of the results of and changes that have occurred over these two years of implementing teacher exchanges between Mie University and the Department of Japanese Studies of Heidelberg University.According to the feedback from faculty and students,the majority of them hold an overall positive attitude about accepting new teachers.Moreover,by leaving behind their long-time familiar workplace and experiencing a different academic environment,the participant teachers themselves were able to objectively change their thinking about teaching principles,methods and systems. |
