This implementation report describes the implementation details of the "Mie University Vietnam Field Study", pursued by Mie University for many years, as it became a field study conducted online because of the COVID 19. While there are experiences that cannot be captured without visiting and interviewing in person, the before and after surveys of Mie University students and Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University students and the reports of Mie University students suggest that online communication does have some good aspects, such as nurturing in the Japanese students the awareness of the need to communicate to others in an easy manner to understand and the feeling of rediscovering the goodness of Japan. |
