| 内容記述 | Some problems of the rarefied gas dynamics have been treated using two different numerical approaches. One is the finite difference method in terms of the mean free path technique, and the other is the direct-simulation Monte-Carlo method which deals with a large number of simulated molecules simultaneously. Couette flow, heat transfer between parallel plates and between two concentric cylinders are investigated. Furthermore, applicability of these two methods is discussed. | |||||||||||||||||
