Long-noncoding RNA(IncRNA)は薬の薬効や副作用を規定する薬物トランスポータや薬物代謝酵素の発現調節への関与が指摘されている。本研究では、ヒト小腸上皮細胞において酸化ストレス暴露によりP-糖タンパク(P-gp)の発現量が上昇することを確認し、IncRNAの一種であるCRNDE(Coloretal neoplasia differentially expressed)がP-gpの発現量を調節することを明らかにした。
Long-noncoding RNA (IncRNA) should regulate the expression of drug-metabolizing enzymes and drug transporters, which affect the efficacy and adverse effect of drugs. In the present study, we demonstrated that the expression level of P-glycoprotein(P-gp/MDR1) was increased in human colon carcinoma cell line Caco-2 cell by the exposure of oxidative stress. In addition, the present findings suggested that CRNDE (Colorectal neoplasia differentially expressed), which is a type of IncRNA, regulated the expression of MDR1.
