| 内容記述 | 本研究は，温灸により抗がん剤パクリタキセル由来の末梢神経障害（しびれ）が改善する対象者の特徴を明らかにし，またセルフケアとしての温灸の有効性を検討することを目的とした研究である．パクリタキセルによる末梢神経障害をもつ患者6名を対象とし，対象者自身が上下肢8ヶ所の経穴に2時間/回，3回/週の温灸を4～9週間おこなった．温灸は，市販されている火を使わない貼るタイプの温灸を使用した．治療効果の評価には，モノフィラメント圧痛覚試験，数量化尺度（Numerical Rating Scale；NRS）やPOMS日本語版，SF-8TMなどに加えて，温灸の効果についての思いをインタビューにより聴取した． その結果，客観的評価から有意な温灸の効果は確認されなかったが，3名の対象者がしびれの改善を自覚した．しびれの改善が確認できたのは，NRSと面談内容による主観的指標であった． 温灸によりしびれ改善を自覚できた対象者には，以下の特徴がみられた．①介入当初の末梢神経障害が軽微であり，PSが良好であった．②温灸を継続しておこなっていた．③介入後数週間以内に症状改善の自覚があった．④しびれに対して「強い関心を寄せる姿勢」と「対処したいという思い」を持っていた． 以上の温灸によりしびれ改善を自覚できた対象者の特徴から，セルフケアとしての温灸が，軽微な末梢神経障害改善させた可能性が示唆された． |

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of self-applied fireless moxibustion treatment for peripheral neuropathy induced by Paclitaxel of a chemotherapeutic agent. The subjects were six cancer patients treated with Paclitaxel. The patients treated the moxibustion by themselves for 2 hours a day, 3 times a week and continued for 4-9 weeks. Neurological assessment was performed by Semmes-Weistein monofilament test, Numerical Rating Scale （NRS）, POMS and SF-8TM. Additionally they were interviewed about the subjective evaluation of the moxibustion by the researcher. As a result, there was no significant reduction in the neurological objective evaluation. But three patients were relieved from their numbness subjectively. The common characteristics for three patients were the followings, 1. The peripheral neuropathy was not severe. 2. The moxibustion treatment was continued by the patients willingness. 3. The patients felt the effectiveness of the moxibustion within a few weeks of starting. 4. The patients had strong interest to deal with the peripheral neuropathy. It was suggested that the patients wanted to decrease their peripheral neuropathy could utilize the moxibustion by themselves. |
