三重大学附属図書館では地域貢献の一環として、平成16年度から、三重県津市教育委員会と連携して津市内の学校図書館の活性化支援を開始した。これは、津市教育委員会が文部科学省から「学校図書館資源共有ネットワーク推進事業」として平成16年度から平成18年度までの3年間、予算配分を受けて実施するものである。大学図書館と学校図書館の連携は、全国的にも事例がほとんど見られないため、本稿ではその概要を紹介するとともに、今後の課題と発展性について論じる。 |

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) allocates budget for programs that promote school libraries' resource sharing networks.Tsu Board of Education was allocated a portion od the dudget for 3years, begining in 2004.The bored planned to send volunteers and visiting counselors to several model school libraries. And then the Board launched a Committee of Center for School Library Promotion in order to determine the direction of the program and look into its efficiency.Prof.Sato of Mie University Library takes on the position of Chairman of the Committee. Meanwhile Mie University Library Staff members serve on the Committee, and participate actively in information literacy workshops with Prof.Sato. Coordination between university libraries and school libraries is not a common activity for university libraries. Therefore we introduce the coordination with Mie University Library and model school libraries of the program, and at the same time we discuss its accomplishments and future prospects. |
