座賀島は三重県英虞湾内にある無人島で、2021 年3 月まで三重大学大学院水産実験所が置かれていた島である。2018 年9 月19 日から21 日の間、筆者らは三重大学の標本作成サークル「BioRecord」の活動の一環として水産実験所を拠点に座賀島の生物相調査を行った。その後、2021 年7 月に追加調査を行った結果、合計で維管束植物73 科163 種を確認した。調査の拠点となる水産実験所が閉鎖され今後の調査が難しくなると予想されることから、これまで得られたデータを公表するとともに、島の主要な植生であるウバメガシ植生についても考察を行った。 |

Zagashima Island is an uninhabited island in Ago Bay, Mie Prefecture, where the Mie University Graduate School of Fisheries Experiment Station had been located until its closure in March 2021. From 19 to 21 September, 2018, the authors conducted a biological survey of Zagashima Island based at the Fisheries Experiment Station as part of the activities of the specimen preparation circle “BioRecord” at Mie University. After that, we conducted two additional surveys on July 12 and 15, 2021. In total, 230 specimens containing a total of 159 species of vascular plants were collected. Due to the closure of the Fisheries Experiment Station as a base of field survey, future surveys will be difficult in this island. Here we publish the plant occurrence data obtained until now. In terms of vegetation, we especially focused on Quercus phillyraeoides forest, which is the dominant vegetation of this island. |
