| 内容記述 | 主な成果は次の二件。（１）『孟子』に見える楊墨批判を対象とし、その倫理学説としての特徴を明らかにした。具体的には、孟子は、利益の有無を行為の妥当性をはかる基準とする思考法に反対し、また、手段としての妥当性に倫理的行為の価値を認める思考法に反対していることを明らかにした。（２）『荀子』の性悪説を対象とし、その倫理学説としての特徴を明らかにした。具体的には、先ず、『荀子』における「悪」の意味内容について、『荀子』内部の用例を再検討することで明らかにした。その上で、荀子の倫理学説は、人の善悪の可能性を始原の資質に求める思考法を克服することに、その特徴があることを明らかにした。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Two specific results of this research project are as follows. (1) We targeted the criticism against Yangzi and Mozi that appear in the Mencius and clarified their characteristics as ethical theories. Specifically, it became clear that Mencius opposes the way of thinking that takes the existence of benefit as the criterion to measure the validity of an action, and also opposes the way of thinking that recognizes the value of an ethical action in its validity as a means to an end. (２) This research project focuses on the human nature theory of the "Jingzi" and clarifies its characteristics as an ethical doctrine. This study reveals that the ethical doctrine of Jung Tzu is characterized by its overcoming the way of thinking that seeks the possibility of good or evil in a person's primordial qualities. | |||||||||
