本研究の結果、日本の看護師の小児緩和ケアの実践は、看護師が勤務する施設による実践の差があること、死を取り巻くコミュニケーションや身体的側面以外の苦痛緩和に関する実践が十分に行われていない可能性が示された。本研究で開発した日本版小児緩和ケア看護師教育プログラム（End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium-Japanese Pediatric Palliative Care；ELNEC-JPPC）は、小児緩和ケアを実践する上で核となる知識や技術を学び、受講した看護師の小児緩和ケアの実践に変化をもたらすプログラムであることが示された。 |

The results of this study indicated that Japanese nurses' practice of pediatric palliative care varies depending on the facilities where the nurses work and that there may be insufficient practice regarding communication with a child and their family members surrounding death and relief of another suffering than the physical aspects. The Japanese version of the pediatric palliative care nurse education program (End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium-Japanese Pediatric Palliative Care; ELNEC-JPPC) developed in this study was designed to provide nurses with the core knowledges and skills to practice pediatric palliative care. The ELNEC-JPPC program could make a difference in the pediatric palliative care of Japanese nurses who participate in this program. |
