当科にて大腸全摘出術を施行した潰瘍性大腸炎患者と原発切除を施行した大腸癌患者から、dysplasia、癌部、悪性新生物を含まない潰瘍性大腸炎粘膜や正常大腸粘膜を採取し、多数のサンプルを用いて、発癌に関与する候補メチル化遺伝子の網羅的解析を行った。
S-CRCおよびUC-CRC患者の癌組織において有意に高メチル化レベルを認める遺伝子Xを同定した。遺伝子Xが直腸粘膜組織で有意に高メチル化レベルであることを同定し、直腸粘膜組織における遺伝子Xのメチル化レベルが発癌予測マーカーとなりえる可能性が示唆された。 |

We collected ulcerative colitis mucosa, normal colon mucosa, dysplasia, and cancerous tissue from patients with ulcerative colitis or colorectal cancer underwent surgery at our department. We performed a comprehensive analysis of candidate methylated genes involved in carcinogenesis using a large number of samples.
Gene X methylation levels were significantly higher in cancer tissues of S-CRC and UC-CRC patients. In addition, gene X methylation levels significantly higher in rectal mucosal tissue than cecal tissue. The methylation level of gene X in rectal mucosal tissue may be a predictive marker for carcinogenesis. |
