| 内容記述 | 生成文法の枠組みにおける文法化現象（動詞や名詞といった語彙範疇に属する語が機能的・文法的な要素へと発達する通時的変化）の理論的研究に貢献した。本研究は、発話動詞の文法化に着目しながら、これまでの生成文法における文法化分析では扱うことのできなかった文法化のパターンを分析し、それらを網羅する分析を新たに提案した。加えて、形態論研究で提案された「ルートと範疇の分離」という仮説を文法化の分析に用いることで、この仮説の応用可能性を示した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | I contributed to the theory of grammaticalization (i.e. diachronic changes where lexical elements such as verbs and nouns evolve into functional and grammatical elements) within the framework of generative grammar. Focusing on the grammaticalization of speech verbs, I analyzed grammaticalization patterns that had not been sufficiently addressed in previous generative studies. Additionally, by applying the root & category theory, which is proposed in the study of morphology, to analyzing grammaticalization, I demonstrated the applicability of this theory. | |||||||||
