"人間の生活に深く関わり，個人の潜在能力を高める援助である看護は，SOCの形成と強化を促進する援助でもあることが指摘されている．近年，特に，精神保健看護領域において精神疾患患者を対象としたSOC研究が盛んになっている．精神疾患患者は一般的にSOCが低い傾向にあることが報告されていることから，国内でのSOC研究についての文献検討をふまえ，海外での精神科看護領域におけるSOC研究の内容を文献検討した．その結果，健康生成論の理論的枠組みに基づいた集団的介入プログラム作成や，自殺未遂者のSOCからその後の再自殺リスクを予見している結果から，精神科看護のアセスメントツールとして，SOC尺度が有効であることが示唆された．本邦の精神科看護領域においても，SOCを高める介入研究は，早急に推進していくべき研究課題といえる．",
