Data compiled by J. L. Buck and others on one of 16,789 farms in 168 localities in China, 1929-33 were examined. In each area (Spring Wheat, Winter Wheat-millet Area, Winter Wheat-kaoling Area, Southwestern Rice Area), we computed statistic (mean, deviation, and correlation) of elements of farm-management in China and analyzed them by regression analysis. The features of each area were clarified based on the results of pattern-analysis using "Theory of Quantification III". Rural economy in eaea is discussed. |
