| 内容記述 | This report discusses two opportunities for Mie Universlty students, including international students, to work with local communlty members. The events were designed and put into practice by a volunteer-based organization that supports international students while studying Japanese at Mie University. The events took place in Ise and Iga in 2004 and were financed by The Fund for International Friendship and Exchange. The community members who participated, even in minor roles, had unexpected and invaluable experiences; students discovered new meanings of their own values and gained a deeper understanding of international exchange. It is hoped that the university Will continue to provide pedagogic and financial support as all participants look toward the future, growing and developing a sense of self-awareness in conjunction with a global outlook. |
