We have launched ‘Japanese study support program' for the international students of all faculties in Mie University, by cooperation of teachers in charge of them in Center of International Students, Humanities, and Education. ‘Japanese study support' means that each Japanese student helps a paired foreign student to study Japanese for arranged 90 minutes a week as a volunteer. The contents of support depend on the request of the foreign students, and are mostly the skill up of conversation, Kanji, report writing, reading, and listening. In this report we will mainly describe the contents of the support, the activities and details of the program, the skill study of Japanese students, and the rules of the support, and then exam the problem of the program to be solved in the future. |
