本科研の成果は、以下の3点に集約される。(1) ヴィクラマシーラ寺院との関連を有するインド仏教文献についてのデータベースを作成した。(2) 同寺院の代表的な学僧の著作群における密教思想の位置づけについて、各研究メンバーが検討作業を行った。(3) 上記の2つの作業を踏まえたうえで、密教思想とそれ以外の仏教思想との関係性の理解に関して何らかの学統が同寺院に存在するかどうかも考察した。このうち (2) と (3) の成果については、東京大学東洋文化研究所の学術雑誌『東洋文化』特集号（96号）で発表を予定している。 |

The results of this research can be summarized as follows: (1) A database was made for important texts preserved or known at the Vikramasila Monastery. (2) Each of the research members worked on the relationship between mantranaya and paramitanaya explained in the works of the monk-scholars of the Monastery. (3) Based on (1) and (2), we also discussed the existence of a community of thought regarding the relationship between mantranaya and paramitanaya. As for the outcomes of (2) and (3), we are now preparing to publish them in a special volume of the Oriental Culture (Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia, the University of Tokyo). |
